The BioArtography Program will soon be giving out 4 travel awards of $300 each.  The travel award is intended to provide funding for Ph.D. graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to participate at scientific meetings and conferences. A random drawing will take place and four awards will be chosen (2 Ph.D. graduate students and 2 postdoctoral fellows).  All U-M Ph.D. graduate students & postdocs in a biomedical/bioscience field are eligible (e.g. Medical School basic science/clinical science, LSA, Dental School, Engineering, etc.).

The goal of the BioArtography program is to provide support for training of the next generation of scientists, while simultaneously informing and engaging the public about important new developments in health and disease. See our website with over 250 amazing images at bioartography.com!

One important note:  Selected applicants will be required to provide 4 hours of service at the BioArtography booth during the 2022 Ann Arbor Art Fair: July 21-23, 2022 to explain their science (and that of others) to the public (training provided).
