RESEARCH FELLOW - MOBLEY LAB

Postdoctoral

Summary

The Mobley Laboratory in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Michigan Medical School (https://mobley.lab.medicine.umich.edu/) is seeking to hire Postdoctoral Fellows for NIH-funded positions. The laboratory is interested in the molecular mechanisms of bacterial pathogenesis. We are studying virulence mechanisms of uropathogenic Escherichia coli and Proteus mirabilis that cause urinary tract infection as well as fitness genes of Gram-negative bacilli causing bloodstream infections.  The project for new Postdoctoral Fellows involves the measurement of global gene expression and growth rates during human infection. Please see the lab bibliography at: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=mobley+h&sort=date
